Postdoctoral Job Offer

Job offer at the Botanical Institute of Barcelona (IBB, CSIC-CMCNB), to join the project “Functional and evolutionary perspectives in reproductive biology: the Asteraceae chapter as a model system (COMPOSITAE)”.

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher for a 14-16 month contract (depending on the start date) with experience in the analysis of whole genome sequencing data for the comparative study of gene evolution. Candidates should have previous training and experience in molecular laboratory activities, manipulation and bioinformatics processing of genomic data. Experience in handling phylogenetic and ecological datasets would also be an asset.
