My main research interests can be classified into two main categories:
1. Conservation biology of vascular plants:- Conservation genetics (mainly focused on rare, endemic, and threatened species)
- Demography
- Management and recovery plans
- Red listing
- Development of new tools for conservation (drones)
- Development of biological databases and data mining
- Phylogeography of Mediterranean and East Asian (China, Korea, and Japan) species
- Ecological niche modelling
- Invasive alien species
- Urban plant diversity
