IBB researcher in the Stanford’s ranking of the most cited scientists

As every year, Valentí Rull (VR), CSIC researcher working at the IBB and collaborator of the Institut Català de Paleontologia Miquel Crusafont (ICP), appears in Stanford’s ranking of the most cited scientists in the world, both in the version corresponding to his entire research career (1983-2023) and for the most recent year (2023). As has also become customary, VR ranks within the top 1% (0.6%) of known paleontologists and in the global top 10 of his specialty, palynology. Nationally, VR remains the top of the only five Spanish paleontologists who appear in Stanford’s ranking.
