Position as Research assistant
The project Floral flow: The establishment and consequences of mutualistic plant-insect relationships for the evolution of terrestrial ecosystems is seeking a research assistant (2-year position) to work on the preparation of databases to be used in the project.
Gross salary around 30,000€/year
YOUR PROFILE
BSc in Biology, Paleontology, Environmental Sciences, Geology or similar, with knowledge on Angiosperm diversity. Ideally with MSc in a related topic. Additional merits are valuable (publications, knowledge on geology or fossil record).
Good communication and teamwork skills, who can work independently and in goal-oriented manner, enthutiasm and engagement.
Excellent written and oral English.
ENVIRONMENT
The applicant will be based at the Institut Botànic de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain).
The IBB is an international recognized institution for its research in plant and insect-plant science, with a collaborative interdisciplinary work between botanists and entomologists.
